We love a good zoo and the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha is a fantastic one! If you would like to venture out into something a little different, Omaha happens to be home to some awesome culinary tours. Omaha is four hours from home for us, so it’s a nice way to break up the 12 hours of travel. We have often added a day in Omaha on our way to Estes Park. The Omaha, Nebraska area does provide a nice variety of things to do. This will be the beginning of an epic road trip from Iowa to Estes Park.
